How to get rid of the tongue-burning hotness of chili
Eating hot things like hot salsa, sauce and red hot chili peppers(I’m not talkin’ about the music band
) is something that most of us seem to like. And some dudes even think that they can show their strength and manliness by eating stuff like that(they think that one can be the alpha male by eating the hottest chili
).
After eating stuff like that, your tongue will burn like hell!!!….well, not literally(it is a figure of speech) but still it will burn like h…I mean like crazy!!!! People often gulp in great amounts of water to put out the ‘flame’…..it often results in the burstin’ of the stomach! Well, there is no use of extinguishing an imaginary flame. Go check your tongue in the mirror, is it burning? No! It most certainly is not! But still you can feel your tongue burning.
So what is the scientific explanation for this? Ummm…lets see….wait, my brain is tickin’..AHA! The chili contain a substance, capsaicin(which is also the primary ingredient in pepper spray) which simulate the temperature sensing parts of the tongue. That is why the tongue ‘burns’. Capsaicin is soluble in milk. So now you’ll know what to do, drink a glass of milk instead of drinking ice water/drink or usin’ a fire extinguisher
.
Trust me, this will work…this not an April Fool joke. Try it yourself and see that I am tellin’ the truth, the whole truth and nothin’ but the truth!

I didnt say HOT milk!!!!!!!!!!
how about some ice cubes to make the tongue numb?
But this is much better coz milk dissolves capsaicin….and i’ve even tried it. I remember using ice cubes after eatin sum hot stuff but it took forever to get rid of the ‘heat’! But drinkin milk is more efficient and the ‘heat’ goes away much faster.
thank god i had these cucumbers you put garlic salt seasoning salt lemon juice and tapatio and it was hot as hell
